WNBA seems to be treated for employment after this season, as negotiations between the league and the National Women’s Basketball Association were underdeveloped to this stage.
The players were hoping to avoid a possible work when they chose the current collective negotiation agreement in October. They believed that a year would be a great time to take out the details of a new deal before CBA expires after this season.
But with the deadline on October 31, only 108 days away, the WNBA players “prepare” to stop the work if the pace of conversations does not increase significantly in the near future, according to multiple sources while knowing the negotiations that were given unknown so that they can speak frankly about the situation.
WNBA players, federation executives and league officials in Indianapolis will meet on Thursday, while it is expected to be a pivotal point in the negotiation process.
