John Fogerty He will go to “Keep on Chooglin” in 2026.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer just shared that he has extended his ongoing “Legacy Tour” with his backing band Hearty Har — which includes his sons Shane and Tyler Fogerty — and special guest/former Traffic singer Steve Winwood.

Come fall, the legendary duo will visit amphitheaters, performing arts centers, music sheds, pavilions, casinos and more as part of a short 13-concert outing.

The Tri-States are lucky, too.

Fogerty and Winwood have not one, not two, not three, not four, but five (!) gigs in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. It is scheduled to be held in:

Constellation Brands Center for the Performing Arts
Canandaigua, New York
Saturday 5 September

Hartford Healthcare Coliseum
Bridgeport, CT
Wednesday 9 September

Ocean casino resort
Atlantic City, New Jersey
Friday 11 September

Jones Beach Theater
Wantage, New York
Saturday 12 September

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts
Bethel, New York
Sunday 13 September

Before the brief tour of co-headlining, the 80-year-old Fogerty had a number of spring concerts on the West Coast as well from March through June.

As for what to expect at the shows, the onetime Creedence Clearwater Revival vocalist will reprise fan favorites from his CCR days. Based on our findings in Set FM menuyou can expect “Fortunate Son”, “Bad Moon Rising”, “Proud Mary”, “Who’ll Stop The Rain” and of course the timeless and swampy “Keep On Chooglin”.

But what’s interesting is that the Creedence songs differ little from those the band originally released more than half a century ago, when Fogerty re-recorded them all for his album “Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years” after a 50-year legal dispute.

“(He) may have turned 80 this year, but you wouldn’t know it by his powerful voice, his energetic command of the stage, and his blazing guitar riffs.” American Songwriter he wrote in a review of Fogerty’s November 2025 concert.

“…John had no problem keeping up with his backing band, all of whom appeared to be less than half his age. The group included sons Shane and Tyler, who both sang backing vocals and played guitar.”

New music by John Fogerty

On August 22, Fogerty dropped “Legacy: the Creedence Clearwater Revival Years (John’s Version).”

As noted above, the original record contains 20 tracks and vocals that are virtually indistinguishable from the original versions of the songs you know and love, other than a few remasters. However, the gravel remains.

To hear all the great songs again, you can find “Legacy: the Creedence Clearwater Revival Years (John’s version)” here.

Steve Winwood

The fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has an impressive resume.

In addition to fronting the great Traffic – which brought the world “Dear Mr. Fantasy” and “The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys” among others – the 77-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist also lent his vocals to Blind Faith and The Spencer Davis Group before launching a successful solo career and finding major success.

according to Set FM menuHere’s what he usually performs live:

01.) “Happy” (Traffic Song)

02.) “I Can’t Find My Way Home” (Blind Faith song)

03.) “Why Can’t We Live Together” (cover by Timmy Thomas)

04.) “I’m a Man” (Spencer Davis Group song)

06.) “Roll with it”

07.) “We Can Work It Out” (Beatles cover)

09.) “The Low Spark of Boys in High Heels” (Traffic Song)

10.) “Dear Mr. Fantasy” (Pass Song)

11.) “Supreme Love”

12.) “Gimme Some Lovin'” (Spencer Davis Group song)

Harty Haas

For the uninitiated, Hearty Har is a rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 2012. Led by brothers Shane (guitar/vocals) and Tyler Fogerty (guitar/vocals), the group has a sinuous, funky, upbeat sound that will have you dancing in no time.

Think the Black Keys’ groovy basslines with a little Booker T. and MGs thrown in for good measure.

We can’t get enough of the disco-fried rocker “Can’t Keep Waiting” and the shockingly terrifying “Scream and Shout”!
