More than 50,000 American soldiers were deployed as part of the operation US Operation Epic Fury It has already eliminated 2,000 targets, according to US Navy Admiral Brad Cooper.

“On the orders of the President of the United States and the Secretary of War, our military in the Middle East undertook an unprecedented operation to eliminate Iran’s ability to threaten Americans as they have been doing for nearly half a century,” Cooper said in a statement. The video was posted on X Tuesday.

The United States has deployed more than 50,000 soldiers, along with 200 fighter planes, two aircraft carriers, and an unknown number of bombers since the start of “Operation Epic Fury” on Saturday.

“These forces have a tremendous amount of firepower, representing the largest U.S. mobilization in the Middle East in a generation,” Cooper said.

He added: “Many of you may remember the shock and awe of the 2003 strikes. The volume of the first 24 hours of this operation has doubled, and we continue to strike Iran 24/7 from the bottom of the sea to space and cyberspace.”

Nearly 2,000 Iranian targets were struck in the first 100 hours of the joint operation with Israel, with the United States launching more than 2,000 munitions.

Cooper said the United States had “severely reduced” Iran’s air defenses and destroyed hundreds of ballistic missiles, launchers and drones.

“In simple terms, we shoot at all the things that can shoot at us,” he said.

US forces used their various bombers including B-2, B-1 and B-52 aircraft in operations “deep in Iran”.

The United States struck at least 17 Iranian ships and submarines.

“We are also sinking the Iranian Navy, the entire Navy, so far,” Cooper said.

No ships flying the Iranian flag were found in Middle Eastern waters after the launch of the operation.

“We will not stop,” Cooper said. “We will continue to conduct dynamic targeting operations. We are going after the last remaining mobile ballistic missile launchers in Iran, to eliminate what I will describe as stranded launch capabilities.”
