Threats reach Berlanga Grand to Sheraz
Edgar Berlanga was his usual self today, throwing his grand comments with exiles and threats towards his opponent Hamzah Sheeraz before their Super Middeight Super Middeight WBC title this Saturday, July 12th, in Queens, New York.
Sheeraz is frightful berlanga face -to -face
You could say by looking at Berlanga (23-1, 18 kos) that he was worried about what might happen to him against the big puncher Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 kos). During the surface, Edgar looked dreadful from the taller fighter.
Berlanga yapping on it was only started until Hamzah started walking away in a manner that had dog Quality to him. It would have been fun if Sheeraz had been accused to see what his response would have been.
In some ways, Hamzah is more dangerous than Canelo Alvarez because of his punching combination and the way he goes for the killing when someone has hurt.
Berlanga knows what is at stake in this fight. He wants that “Big Bag” in a re -sentence with Canelo. With a victory hitting out over Sheeraz, the New Yorker Berlanga, at least, can stay in his good races with Turki Alalshikh and possibly have a second chance with the Mexican star in the second half of 2026.
Sheeraz chance to calm critics
“I have a lot to test, and this is my first one in America,” said Hamzah Sheeraz during today Grand attainments in New York. “Come on Saturday night, they will all know who I am.”
Hamzah knows that many fans are down on him after his last performance against WTG weight champion CLC Carlos Adames in February. Together, fans saw him make a draw, and they don’t understand why he was getting a knee meat against Berlanga after that fight.
Berlanga’s unmilted message to Sheraz
“I’m ready to show this dude this weekend. It’s a big night. July 12th, I’m about to turn up,” said Edgar Berlanga. “I don’t give af *** about them.
That was Berlanga’s message when asked about his thoughts on Sheeraz. When he was talking, he continued to look left and right, as if checking to see if Hamzah would emerge and jump. You could say that Edgar was nervous about talking litter while his British opponent is still in the building. He took that nervousness from his message because his words did not match his physical effect. It was like he recounted something, but did not act in a way in all his words.
“July 12th is the night I’m looking forward to. There’s a lot in the future. A lot of big fights to do. But as I said, this weekend, I’m going if *** this mother f **** up. That’s it. Beat it up and go on to the next,” said Berlanga.
If Edgar is victorious, Turki could be founded with the past his best 35 -year -old Jermall Charlo. That one would echo with older boxing fans who remember when Jermall was still an active fighter five years ago. It would not be a fight that younger fans would be worried about because they have no idea who Charlo is, because he stopped fighting in 2021 and has fought once since.
“If he goes for the beating out, that’s going to benefit Sheeraz. This is an important battle for Berlanga to shut up many people up after that Canelo criticism,” said commentator Sergio Mora.
