The Knicks aren’t concerned about Josh Hart’s recovery from injury

Josh Hart is methodically working on his comeback.

Knicks coach Mike Brown said on Sunday that the Knicks guard is still not practicing with the team but has progressed to work on the court.

Hart I’ve been dealing with back spasms He did not appear in the last two preparatory matches.

The concern is that Hart is missing critical time as the Knicks learn a new system on offense and defense.

“He’s practiced a few times, played in one game. So, you get a sense of what you’re going to get from Josh,” Brown said. “But the hard part about it is that what we’re doing is new, and he hasn’t been through it, so he’s a little behind in that regard.

“But he has great feel, he’s marked us enough, and he should be able to jump. He might be a few steps ahead, but he should be able to catch up with the guys quickly.”

Brown wasn’t committed to his plans for the starters for Monday’s game against the Wizards at the Garden.

“We still want to take a look at some guys,” the first-year Knicks coach said. “The more minutes I spend with the players, the better for us to make decisions, but I’m not 100 percent sure.”

In three preseason games, the Knicks averaged 44 three-point attempts.

Miles McBride believes it’s just a byproduct of his high-tempo ball-moving style.

They attempted 57, and made 15, in the last game, against the Timberwolves.

“I think it’s just a matter of playing more,” McBride said. “I think it has to do with the fast pace of the game, where we’re driving and going for an open 3. Swing, swing again. I think it’s just, ‘You’re open, shoot.'”
