In the NFL, teams can’t win games without losing. They can’t win games without an effective midfielder. They cannot win games when their coaches keep making decisions that leave even casual fans scratching their heads.

On Sunday in London, the Jets did all of those things.

The most troubling element of the Jets’ 0-6 record — they’re the only winless team in the league — yet Sunday’s inexplicable loss to the Broncos 13-11 It’s that they got there by doing the very things new coach Aaron Glenn would have avoided.

Glenn, the former Jets star, is a student of Bill Parcells. Parcells’ hallmark of coaching winning teams was making sure his teams didn’t beat themselves up.
