A skier was left dangling 65 feet in the air after a prank on a chairlift went horribly wrong.

This incident took place on February 24 Big Bear Lake in Californiawhere Raula de Miranda-Arce, 21, was riding the elevator with her twin sister and a friend, news agency SWNS reported.

Big Bear Mountain Resort Fox News confirmed the incident in a statement shared with Digital.

“On Tuesday, February 24 at 2:45 p.m., a 21-year-old female skier was safely loaded onto Chair 9 at Bear Mountain. At some point during her ascent, she failed to maintain proper safety protocol and was suspended from the carrier,” the resort said in its statement.

The organization added, “The guest and her sister, who was driving the carrier with her, Enrolled in horse sports As a reason for her suspension. As soon as the staff became aware of the situation, they took immediate action to stop the carrier and disembark everyone as soon as they reached the upper terminal.”
