Rolly Romero insists on a small circle for Brian Norman Jr Vs. Devin Haney fights to stop “running around” haney
Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero says he hopes to fight Brian Norman Jr. vs Devin Haney is fought in a “A small ring” In November because he doesn’t want to see Devin “running around” the whole night. WBA Romero’s Welterweight Champion is not a big fan of Haney’s, and says he hopes that Norman Jr. will “flatten” it.
Turki Alalshikh announced the fighting between WBO WBO Norman Jr. weight champion (28-0, 22 KOS) and Haney (32-0, 15 KOS) this week for November at one of his Riyadh season events. The subcook is expected to be loaded with talent.
Given how scared Devin looked at his last fight at the Times Square event in New York, there is a high possibility that he will move the whole night against Norman Jr., making it difficult for him to land his power shots. That would be a nightmare for Turki to have Haney to turn the battle into a similar event to Tom and Jerry.
Rolly predicts Haney “Running”
“Hopefully Brian Norman will flatten him. Brian Norman is a tremendous fighter. He punches hard and all those things. I hope they put that battle in a small circle And they put on ankle pressure so that Devin Haney doesn’t run around like a turkey with his head cut off, ”said Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero to HUB TV fightsSpeaking of November fight between Brian Norman Jr. and Devin Haney.
Small rings for action fighting
Predictable, Turki Alalshikh will organize the Norman Jr vs Haney event to be fought in an 18 x 18 cycle in November. It would not be surprising if an 18 -foot rings became standard for Riyadh Turki’s season events to ensure fans are entertained by greater operation.
Ideally, a 16 x 16 cycle should be used for all Turki events, as this would guarantee that runners would not be able to ruin the party, as can be seen at the Times Square event in New York last May.
“Oh, hope Brian Norman is always”Says Rolly when he is asked who he hopes wins Norman-Haney fights.” This is Brian Norman’s first test. So this is his first appearance. So, let’s see how Brian makes or can press on Devin, or whether Devin is going to run around like a turkey. Brian will have to work on cutting the cycle for obvious reasons. “
If Norman Jr is holding Haney, he will cast him out. There is no question about that, because it punches harder than Ryan Garcia, and he’s not going to take rounds off the way he did because of his bad gas tank in his fight with Devin.
Norman JR has previously fought against good opposition, but not with the popularity or past achievements that Haney brings to this battle. Haney is not much better than some of Brian JR fighters have fought during his career. Skilled wise, Devin is better than everyone who Norman Jr has fought during his pro career, but not in terms of punching power.
“Look, no Tom and Jerry, right? So, no Tom and Jerry, but you’re going to continue to give this Tom and Jerry fighters opportunities,” said Romero.
Haney’s “Tom and Jerry” style
Rolly raises a good point. If Turki Alalshikh doesn’t want to fight Tom and Jerry, why is he still working with Devin Haney and Shakur Stevenson? Those are two fighters who use movement to exclude their opponents, and it’s often boring to watch them.
Neither can keep their Pro careers to go without using their style of hit-and-not-tao fighting. If you take Devin and Shakur and force them to be still, they will be destroyed by almost anyone in their weight classes.
