Naoya Inoue called out from the US New World Champion: “I will be the first to beat”

Naoya inoue remains one of the stars of the pound-for-pound boxing world and the Japanese phenomenon may finally move to feather weight. There, all 126 lbs champions hope to be selected as his opponent, but most of all other than a new crowned title holder from the United States.
Inoue has ruled at light flight weight, higher flight weight, bantam and ultra-pantam weights during his 32-fighting career, undoubtedly at 118 lbs and 122 lbs as one of only three undoubtedly multi-departmental champions in the four belt phase.
However, in spite of a a fight that defines a legacy with Junto Nakatani on the horizonMany fans in the United States are keen to see Inoue fighting on American soil and to do so in the featherweight section.
Now, after Registration of the Knockout competitor of the year in winning a world title in his hometownBruce Carrington, World Featherweight Champion Sean Zittel that he would accept a fight with ‘The Monster’ over the merger of possible titles.
“(The battle with Inoue) is very realistic now and I’m really excited about what’s to come. The next two years are going to be very special, we’re going to be making a lot of noise and I think it’s right there, it’s about to happen.
“Everything really falls into my place, man. I really want to be the first guy to do, to beat Inoue, and then we’re going to be on that way, Superstardom level.
“(I would rather fight it (than merge), because with the merger, I feel I could still do it, after (Inoue fight). I think the battle with it is something I want more, because it would just put me at that level.
“Beating it would put me on a certain level, over the merger fighting, really.”
Carrington then went on to explain why he believes that interest in that pool should not be one -sided, stating that Inoue should be looking for incidents across the pool to improve his star power.
“He should also have some interest in fighting in America, which will make him an even more fighter if he becomes more successful with more fighting here and builds his name.”
If Inoue wanted to play feather weights for the first time in the United States, then Carrington stands out as the prominent candidate and with his roots in New York, a conflict at Madison Square Garden makes sense to both men, provided that Inoue comes through his meeting with Nakatani unnecessarily.
