Dear bright side,
I never imagined that I am writing something like this, but after all that happened, I just need to get this out of my chest.
She got married for three years of a wonderful man who has a son of his previous marriage. From the beginning, I told myself that I would do everything I could to make his son feel welcome and beloved. I knew that I would never replace his mother – and never tried. I just wanted to be an adult and fixed person in his life.
It was not easy. He was giving me a cold stare, brushing my questions, and once, when his favorite pies made him, pushing the painting away and mutating, “Prevention that you are a good mom will not make you one.”
However, I was trying. I remained awake lately in the science project when his father was working on the additional work. She chanted in his football match when his mother did not appear. I even defended it when he faced a school problem. I thought perhaps, perhaps, one day he saw how much I care about.
