My Stepdaughter Refuses to Obey My Rules, So I Decided to Teach Her a Lesson / Bright Side

Hello A bright side,

When my husband and I moved first, I made it clear that there would be some rules in our home. I believe in a structure, especially when it comes to children. From the beginning, I explained to me Father’s daughterEmma, that there are some expectations that must be respected if she wants to live with us.

Emma tasks included keeping her room clean, washing her, helping dishes and garbage. We had a curfew at 10 pm on school nights, and weekends were more relaxed, with a curfew in the middle of the night. I also had a base around Screen timeThere are no laptop phones or computers at the dinner table, and limit the maximum two hours of the entertainment screen at the school nights. I thought these rules were simple and fair.

The problem was that Emma was used in a more relaxed environment in her mother’s home, as there were no real rules or expectations. From the first day, it was pushed again against everything. Initially, small things like leaving dirty dishes in the sink were or ignoring their work, but then things get worse.
