Like the rest of LEGO Wall art seriesthe 1,518-piece collection abandons the brand’s traditional 3D silhouettes in favor of a framed scene, featuring the city’s towering towers and stunning natural landscapes. To create depth, the set delicately layers vibrant panels with unexpected LEGO bricks, from purple petals to golden tendrils of liquid. The result is a highly detailed architectural surface, which encourages us to view it from different angles in order to fully appreciate the interplay of light and shadow.
Measuring over 12.5 inches tall, the set is a fun addition to the indoor space, underscoring LEGO’s growing interest in display-first builds. Glinda appears inside her bubble, while Elphaba sits atop a shiny platform, as if ready to fly into the pink horizon. A secret hatch provides a hideout for Dorothy Gale and her companions, including the Straw Man, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and even Toto.
