LeBron James’ family is on the verge of exiting the basketball world.
The Lakers star spoke with reporters Sunday night after their 129-101 win over the unfortunate Sacramento Kings, where his daughter Zuri was in attendance and showed off some solid basketball moves on the sideline in a viral social media post.
“She’s a volleyball player.” James replied When asked if his 11-year-old daughter dreams of playing hoops. “Don’t get mad at my wife. My wife’s done with this basketball game. She’s done with it.”

Zori Nova James is the youngest child of James and his wife, Savannah.
“She’s a volleyball player, but she’s been around the game for a while,” James said. “I’ve got good handles, and I’ve got good form, too. But my wife doesn’t play that. She doesn’t play any other role. She said, ‘That’s it,'” she said.
James, 41, said Savannah pushed him to retire from basketball in the past few years.
In a private conversation published in Instagram story snippet from JuneJames told former teammate Kevin Love, among others, that “Savannah wants me to retire in the next year or so.”
James has certainly built a large family of basketball players.
His eldest son, 21-year-old Bronny, is currently on the Lakers’ bench and appears to be improving a bit in mop-up games.
His other son, 18-year-old Bryce, is currently redshirting his first year at Arizona.
After likely traveling across the country with their two sons for AAU basketball tournaments, which have a reputation for being some of the most challenging schedules for athletes and parents, it appears Zuri will not be following in her father’s footsteps.

James still fills up the stat sheet despite being the oldest player in the NBA.
He’s averaging 21.6 points, seven rebounds and 5.6 assists per game for the Lakers, who are 36-24 and sit in the No. 6 seed in the loaded Western Conference.
