After 40 years of saving and finally retiring, I was thrilled to finally spend my days traveling and enjoying life with my husband. But just two months later, I noticed that half of our retirement savings were gone.
When I confronted him, he sheepishly admitted that he had “invested” the money with a friend, and of course, the money was gone. I don’t know where, but the money has disappeared. My heart sank, and I felt angry, but I knew that fear wouldn’t solve anything.
