Fundora-Nurman was added to Pacquiao-Romero card
Fighting Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman is being moved to the co-feature spot on Romero ‘Rolly’ card Manny Pacquiao vs Rolando on January 24 in Las Vegas.
Two come back, one card
The Fundora-Nurman and Pacquiao-Rolly fight well. They both set older fighters who have done nothing to win the world title shot, as these fighters have been mainly unactity for the last three to four years. Thurman has fought only once in the last three years.
Fundora (23-1-1, 15 ko) was forced to postpone his previously scheduled October 25th title defense of his CLLC’s junior mid-weight belt against Thurman (31-1, 23 KOS) due to left injury.
Thurman is still fuming
Thurman ‘One Time’ is furious about the postponement, and suspects that ‘the stunning inferno’ had cold feet for one reason or another for fighting in October. It is unclear why Fundora would be worried about fighting the 36 -year -old Thurman when the fight is expected to be an absolute mistake.
Mike Coppinger He revealed that Fundora-Nurman’s fight was being moved to the Pacquiao-Romero card.
Pacquiao’s second revival journey
At the main event, the 47-year-old Pacquiao soon (62-8-3, 39 KOS) has been fighting for the second time since coming off a four-year layoff on July 19, 2025, against the WTG weight champion Mario Barrios.
Both fighter fought into a majority of a majority of 12 rounds. The fighting drew a lot of criticism because Pacquiao was getting a world title shot that had not been won. He makes a mockery of boxing when a fighter can retire for four years and then get a crack immediately in a world title without fighting even once.
Rolly cash removal
WBA champion Rolly Romero does not mind that Pacquiao does not scale the fighting of the world title. He sees this as a nice money fighting for him. He also allows him to milk his title before the WBA forced him to defend against his compulsory challenger, Shakhram Giyasov. That’s a battle that Rolly would likely lose.
Pacquiao gets another title shot after that raffle looks silly, but shows what that focus is. This is about money. If Pacquiao had to win a fight against Rolly by facing a #1 WBA competitor, Giyasov, he would have had a lot of trouble.
