Albert Ramirez departs from his fight against Lerrone Richards

Interim WBA title holder Albert Ramirez (22-0, 19 KOS) was in hospital with suspected Pendics inflammation and ruled that it was medically unsuitable, forcing champions to cancel the fight with Lerrone Richards and restructuring the card at Casino de Montréal.

Champion Camille Estephan said, “This is a heartbreaking decision for us, for boxing fans, and especially for Albert, who was absolutely determined to fight for all. Medical withdrawal late in the fighting week usually stimulates location and broadcast clauses, leaving promoters focusing on keeping a twelve -round heading that keeps the event compliant.

Mehmet Unal (14-0, 12 ko) now meets the European champion Altin Zogaj (17-0, 9 ko) with a continental belt attached and evaluators closely watch. Listed ninth by the WBC, Unal enters its second defense with the exposure of a main event that often influences eliminator location. Zogaj brings a recognized European qualification traveling during a sanctions review, putting pressure on both camps to secure a site inside a department where activity shapes opportunities.

The co-feature holds the relevance of a similar site as Dzmitry Asan (11-0, 5 KOS) defends the WCP continental light title against Carlos Ramos (18-3-1, 10 ko). Asans already hold the number 4 WBA and No. 11 site with the IBF, so continuous activity keeps it steady for title removal traffic.

Thomas Chabot (11-1, 7 ko) meets Dominic Babineau (13-2-1, 11 ko) in Chabot’s first ten-round assignment and his first appearance on featherweight, a movement that often reflects re-hydrated mathematics and durability planning. Wyatt Sanford (5-0, 2 ko) faces Alexis Gabriel Camejo (10-5-2, 1 ko), while Keven Beausejour (1-0, 1 ko) and Dante Tice (1-0) round up the card.

The #unalzogaJ event, held on February 5, will be presented to a sold out crowd. The action will start at 6:30 pm at the Casino de Montréal and will be broadcast as a whole on Punching Grace.
